Description

We recommend this apartment for a couple that wants a stay in a house of rare elegance, with a truly priceless island view!

The apartment consists of living room with dining area and sofa (which turns into a double bed) kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and kettle), bathroom with bathtube and double bedroom.

The first supply of sheets and towels for all guests is included and free of charge.

Unfortunately, we can not accommodate pets in this apartment. We are very sorry!

We offer our guests:

  • WI-FI internet connection (free wi-fi)
  • baby cot € 15 on request
  • free parking at the entrance to the village (the historic center is closed to traffic)

Please note that it is not allowed to enter by car in the historic center of Orta. The cars will be left to the Diania covered parking (free for you) a few hundred meters from the apartment.

Within walking distance you will find restaurants, wine bars, breakfast bars, as well as grocery store, pharmacy, ATM and post office.

Tourist tax not included, to be paid in cash at check-in (approximate cost € 1.00 per person per day).

Any Extra on request:

  • domestic help: € 20 per hour
  • transfer from the airport to the apartment on request
  • car rental service with driver
  • guided tours in English with weekly departures (in summer) directly from your apartment. Ask us about the destinations and prices.

Grazioso appartamento con vista mozzafiato.

Splendido appartamento al secondo piano affacciato sulla piazza principale con vista sul lago e sull’Isola San Giulio. Arredamento tradizionale ed elegante con comfort moderni. I padroni di casa, Alice e Giorgio, sono stati gentili e premurosi. Il loro ufficio si trova a 100 metri di distanza, in caso di domande. Abbiamo mangiato in tutti e cinque i ristoranti che ci avevano consigliato nel centro storico. Di solito facevamo colazione al bar sotto le nostre finestre, con la vista spettacolare, ma anche al panificio, dove gustavamo croissant fatti in casa. Le informazioni sul parcheggio erano assolutamente corrette. Giorgio ci ha incontrati in piazza e ci ha aiutato con i bagagli. Abbiamo soggiornato per cinque notti e ci siamo goduti ogni minuto: le gite in barca sul lago, il Sacro Monte, l’isola e i paesini sulle rive del lago. Torneremo volentieri.
Tenete presente che l’appartamento si trova al secondo piano, raggiungibile tramite delle scale. Potrebbe non essere adatto a persone con problemi di mobilità.

La vista sul lago e i numerosi negozi e ristoranti proprio intorno a voi. È un villaggio bellissimo e molto romantico!
Mi mancava l’aria condizionata in casa e il fatto che non si potesse nuotare da nessuna parte nelle vicinanze, perché non si poteva entrare facilmente in acqua da nessuna parte, a meno che non si andasse in spiaggia, che è piuttosto distante a piedi o in macchina.

Nonostante fosse menzionato sul sito web, non c’era l’aria condizionata! non era proprio piacevole con quel caldo. divano letto in soggiorno non molto comodo nessun posto dove appendere gli asciugamani nessun posto dove asciugare i vestiti dopo t nuotare ad esempio e non c’è spazio libero nell’armadio o nello spazio di archiviazione

I padroni di casa sono davvero gentili e rispondono rapidamente alle domande. La vista è bella.
Il parcheggio gratuito è a 10 minuti a piedi dall’appartamento ed è necessario salire molte scale. L’appartamento si trova al terzo piano di scale. Non c’è aria condizionata centralizzata. Vi daranno un asciugamano a persona per l’intera durata del soggiorno e un rotolo di carta igienica. Non è prevista la colazione. Consiglierei invece di soggiornare all’Hotel La Bussola.

Dear Anonymous, am sorry I don t know who you are, as it would have been helpful to understand your review. Your feedback means a lot to us – thank you for choosing our place for your holiday. I am afraid most of the issues stem from the fact that you chose a private apartment and not a hotel. Unfortunately, we can t provide breakfast (it is prohibited by law) and we can t provide towel changes (this is also prohibited). However, we do provide a set of six towels for each couple, as well as bathmats and dishcloths. Parking is located at the entrance to the limited traffic zone, as is the case with all hotels in the city center. There are certainly many hotels further from the downtown that offer parking and breakfast. I can confirm that Hotel La Bussola is certainly an excellent alternative for your next stay. – visitlakeorta

Innanzitutto, l’appartamento è bellissimo: offre una vista superba sul lago ed è arredato con molto gusto! L’appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario e gode di una posizione eccellente sulla piazza. Un enorme ringraziamento e tanti complimenti vanno al team di Alice! Il contatto è stato ottimo e assolutamente semplice: ogni volta che avevamo bisogno di aiuto, si interveniva immediatamente e l’agenzia era sempre reperibile! Il team è stato eccezionalmente ospitale e molto cordiale! Non mi era mai capitato niente di simile prima. Consigliamo vivamente l’appartamento e l’agenzia di affitto e torneremmo volentieri! 🙂

This apartment was absolutely superb! It was incredibly spacious for two with stunning views of the lake and island San Giulio – a picture postcard every time you look out the windows! The king size bed is very comfortable as is the furniture – everything needed for your stay is provided.

Essen in grosser Auswahl direkt vor der Türe: viele Restaurants, zudem ein kleiner Einkaufsladen mit vielen wichtigen Nahrungsmitteln. Schöner Ausgangspunkt für: Spaziergänge durch Gässchen des Städtchens, rund um die Halbinsel, Wanderungen dem Ufer des Sees entlang oder auch auf die umgebenden Berge. Zudem nahe an Bootsanlegestelle zur Klosterinsel St. Giulio. Zudem am Fuss des Sacro Monte gelegen, auf dem sich eine idyllische Anlage mit kunstvoll gestalteten Kappellen (20!) zum Leben des Franz von Assisi befindet. Läden verschiedenster Genres: Kunsthandwerk, Parfumerie, Gelaterie.
Nachteil der ansonsten sehr bevorzugten Lage: nur selten ruhig aufgrund der Restaurants mit ihren Umtrieben.

The aopartment is very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. In addotion we received a lot of good and orginized information regarding the ares, which we enjoyed a whole lot. (Mostly the routs to walk in and where to buy staff we neede).
There ia around 10 minutes walk from the parking to rhe appartment, and the appartment it self is located in the moat touristic area of the old part of Orta. Still insude it is quire, no lroblem. Still in order to buy groceries we had to take a drive outside the area,

Stunning second floor apartment on the main square overlooking the lake and the Isola San Giulio. Traditional elegant furnishings with modern facilities. Hosts Alice and Giorgio were helpful and attentive. Their office is 100 metres away in case of query. We ate at all five of their restaurant recommendations in the old town. We usually had breakfast in the cafe below our windows with the spectacular view but also at the bakery with home made croissants. The information about car parking was spot on. Giorgio met us in the square and helped with the luggage. We stayed five nights and enjoyed every minute – boats round the lake, the Sacre Monte, the island and the lakeside villages/ towns. We would happily stay again.
Be aware that the apartment is two floors up with steps to match. May not be suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.

Het uitzicht over het meer en de vele winkeltjes en eet gelegenheden direct om je heen. Prachtig dorpje is het en heel romantisch !
Wel miste ik een airco in het huisje, en dat je niet gelijk ergens dichtbij kon zwemmen, want nergens kon je makkelijk het water in mits je naar het strandje ging en dat is wel even lopen of met de auto.

Bellissima casa, curata nei dettagli. La posizione è ottima, la vista lago è fantastica ed è situata nella piazza principale di Orta. Il parcheggio è compreso nel prezzo, altrimenti costerebbe 2 euro all’ora e 20 euro tutto il giorno. Sicuramente consigliata. Soggiorno davvero piacevole.

Our stay at Casa Orta was wonderful!

Casa Orta is in an amazing location. It looks out onto San Giulio island, and also overlooks the main historic square in the town of San Guilio. The area just outside the front door is a pedestrian-only zone, which is perfect for morning walks through town. The apartment itself is a jewel – very well maintained and comfortable. Alfio is easy to communicate with, provided us with parking free-of-charge, and met us on the day we checked in. I definitely recommend that you stay at Casa Orta.

The view is impossible to beat. The location on the main square of this relatively quiet little town is perfect. The opulence of the apartment (without being gaudy) was wonderful to indulge in.

The freezer wasn’t working and there’s no real air conditioning. A mobile unit was placed in the bedroom but it makes a real racket. I didn’t mind but my partner slept on the sofa a couple of nights to escape it.
