Absolutely divine! This apartment is everything we had hoped for and more. With windows and a set of French doors opening on the picturesque, historic Piazza San Giulia, the location is perfect. Alessandra and Alice were very helpful throughout the course of our stay. Lake Orta is extremely beautiful and all of its attractions were accessible on foot or boat from the Isola apartment. I only wish I didn’t have to leave. We will definitely go back!

What a stunning apartment. I have stayed in a lot of holiday house in my time, but this may well be the best of the lot. Amazing setting, soaking up the atmosphere of the square but enjoying the privacy of the balcony and the lovely view over the island. So well located for fantastic restaurants. Yes, it’s a bit of a trek with the suitcase as the town is pedestrianised. But the benefit is that there is no traffic once you are there. And the underground car park for the flat is ideal. A must-book.

We absolutely loved at stay in Lake Orta, and were made to feel very welcome by Alice the agent, who is very knowledgeable about the local area. This beautiful apartment is tastefully furnished, very comfortable and well set up for a short or long term stay. The view of the lake across from the sitting room is spectacular. The apartment is very well appointed with multiple restaurant and bar options just downstairs in the town square. We loved walking around Orta and falling in with the local relaxed lifestyle.

We will feel like we have found a slice of heaven and will definitely return!

We loved being right in the centre of the square – we had small kids who needed to nap in the daytime and/or go to bed early so it was great to be able to sit on the balcony or at the window and still feel like we were amongst the action. Also it was surprisingly quiet given the location.

The flat is beautifully decorated and it is wonderful sit on the balcony and look over the square. We can recommend the restaurant just right from the apartment – great food. Alice was very helpful and answered all questions quick and helped with parking.

What a beautiful apartment! Alice’s communication before and during the stay was excellent and she made sure our stay was memorable. Lake Orta is an incredibly scenic place and Alice’s apartment, overlooking the main square, is a perfect place to stay. The view from the balcony is one of the main square and the island of San Giulio and at night, listening to the gentle water against the shoreline was a lovely way to end the day. We spent four nights at Alice’s apartment and we are very much looking forward to returning.

Appartment Isola was beautiful, really high standard accommodation, with amazing views over the main square and the lake and Isola San Guilio. Alice was incredibly helpful and informative throughout our visit. The booklet on the area she designed herself was really useful and we followed her advice on where to visit and how to get about. Such a beautiful place – and lots to see and do. We went on a day trip to Lake Maggiore – easily accessible from San Guilio and the lakeside walk was a wonderful bonus. A serene and magical place. We’d love to return.

We loved our stay here, and hated to leave! We would absolutely book the same place if we return to Orta. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed, an amazing view of the square and the lake, and is steps away from the main square and all the restaurants and cafes, the boat docks, and a market where we could get groceries so that we could take advantage of the fully-equipped kitchen. And it was a five-minute walk to a spot where we could swim in the lake. Alice made things simple for us to check in and out easily, and she was so accommodating when we needed to get a late check-in.

Gorgeous apartment, quite luxurious. Very comfortable with everything in excellent condition. Exceptionally well located and appointed. Lovely views, we even got a front seat view of our he fireworks over the lake when we were there. Alice was wonderfully helpful.

The appartment is in a great location, in the heart of the historic centre, there are very nice restaurants nearby and nice places to have an aperitif before dinner. The apartment stayed cool even if it was really hot outside and it was really clean. Kids enjoyed the opportunity to go for a swim within 2 min walk from the appartment. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will recommend it to our friends.

This apartment is exactly what you see in the photographs. It’s stylish with a beautiful mosaic floor, spacious and the view is very impressive. The main bedroom is in the back and the only noise you get is sometimes slamming of the 1-2 entry doors. Once you walk through the initial door you have a set of stairs leading up to a second door which opens into the apartment block. Another set of stairs then entry level to your accommodation so be aware of how much luggage you take. There is no wifi, there’s public access but depending on the time of year (like June, July, August) you’ll never connect. Our SIM provider was not often strong enough either. If you stay for longer than the minimum 4 nights be aware that there’s no washer/drye provided in the apartment and from information Alice provided the closest is in Omegna which is some distance away. Same for a supermarket. We bought packaged fruit from a shop underneath. Isola San Giulio? Don’t listen to anyone who says “it’s not worth a visit because there’s nothing there”. We went and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Church is delightful, obviously historic, there’s a restaurant which has a terrace for lunch. Restaurant tables in front but snacks/drinks near the rear but still worth sitting for. To go and return is €4.80 per person and the little boats leave every 15 minutes. Trust me! It’s a lovely way to spend a few hours on a sunny day. We were thinking of returning for dinner one night but we didn’t book because a the boat provides your return due to the public boats last departure is 1900.

The apartment was lovely, it’s supplied with all the thoughtful little things you need for for a comfortable stay, the location was stunning I don’t think we could’ve done better than this apartment, just to make you aware there is no lift to this 1st floor apartment but it’s not too many stairs up, it’s the price you have to pay for such a beautiful but old apartment in a vey old part of the town, thank you to Alice and Alessandra you were both a great help and very informative, we look forward to staying again Thank you
