Che bellissimo appartamento! La comunicazione di Alice prima e durante il soggiorno è stata eccellente e si è assicurata che il nostro soggiorno fosse memorabile. Il lago d’Orta è un luogo incredibilmente panoramico e l’appartamento di Alice, con vista sulla piazza principale, è un luogo perfetto in cui soggiornare. La vista dal balcone è su una delle piazze principali e sull’isola di San Giulio e, di notte, ascoltare il dolce sciabordio dell’acqua contro la costa è stato un bel modo per concludere la giornata. Abbiamo trascorso quattro notti nell’appartamento di Alice e non vediamo l’ora di tornare.

L’appartamento Isola era bellissimo, un alloggio di altissimo livello, con una vista mozzafiato sulla piazza principale, sul lago e sull’Isola San Giulio. Alice è stata incredibilmente disponibile e ci ha fornito molte informazioni durante tutta la nostra visita. L’opuscolo sulla zona che ha creato lei stessa è stato davvero utile e abbiamo seguito i suoi consigli su dove andare e su come spostarci. Un posto davvero bellissimo, con molte cose da vedere e da fare. Abbiamo fatto una gita di un giorno al Lago Maggiore, facilmente raggiungibile da San Giulio, e la passeggiata in riva al lago è stata un meraviglioso valore aggiunto. Un luogo sereno e magico. Ci piacerebbe molto tornare.

L’appartamento si trova in una posizione ottima, nel cuore del centro storico, ci sono ristoranti molto carini nelle vicinanze e locali carini dove fare un aperitivo prima di cena. L’appartamento è rimasto fresco anche se fuori faceva molto caldo ed era davvero pulito. I bambini hanno avuto l’opportunità di fare un bagno a 2 minuti a piedi dall’appartamento. Abbiamo apprezzato ogni minuto del nostro soggiorno e lo consiglieremo ai nostri amici.

Questo appartamento è esattamente quello che vedi nelle foto. È elegante, con un bellissimo pavimento a mosaico, spaziosa e la vista è davvero suggestiva. La camera da letto principale si trova sul retro e l’unico rumore che si sente a volte è lo sbattere di 1-2 porte d’ingresso. Una volta varcata la porta iniziale, si trova una rampa di scale che conduce a una seconda porta che dà accesso al condominio. Un’altra rampa di scale, poi il piano d’ingresso del vostro alloggio, quindi fate attenzione a quanti bagagli portate. Non c’è wifi, c’è un accesso pubblico ma a seconda del periodo dell’anno (come giugno, luglio, agosto) non ti connetterai mai. Anche il nostro fornitore di SIM non era spesso abbastanza potente.
Se rimani per più del minimo di 4 notti, tieni presente che nell’appartamento non sono disponibili lavatrice/asciugatrice e, in base alle informazioni fornite da Alice, la lavatrice/asciugatrice più vicina si trova a Omegna, che dista un po’. Lo stesso vale per un supermercato. Abbiamo comprato frutta confezionata da un negozio al piano di sotto.
Isola San Giulio? Non dare ascolto a chi dice “non vale la pena visitarla perché non c’è niente”. Ci siamo andati e ci siamo divertiti moltissimo. La chiesa è incantevole, ovviamente storica, c’è un ristorante che ha una terrazza per il pranzo. Tavoli del ristorante davanti, ma snack/bevande vicino al retro, ma vale comunque la pena di sedersi. L’andata e il ritorno costano 4,80 euro a persona e le piccole imbarcazioni partono ogni 15 minuti. Fidati di me! È un modo incantevole per trascorrere qualche ora in una giornata di sole. Stavamo pensando di tornare per cena una sera, ma non abbiamo prenotato perché la barca prevede il rientro, dato che l’ultima partenza delle barche pubbliche è alle 19:00.

L’appartamento era incantevole, dotato di tutte le piccole cose curate di cui si ha bisogno per un soggiorno confortevole. La posizione era splendida. Non credo che avremmo potuto trovare qualcosa di meglio di questo appartamento. Solo per informarvi, non c’è l’ascensore per questo appartamento al 1° piano, ma non ci sono troppe scale da salire. È il prezzo da pagare per un appartamento così bello ma vecchio in una parte molto antica della città. Grazie ad Alice e Alessandra, siete state entrambe di grande aiuto e molto disponibili a fornire informazioni. Non vediamo l’ora di soggiornare di nuovo.

Assolutamente divino! Questo appartamento è tutto ciò che speravamo e anche di più. Con finestre e un set di portefinestre che si aprono sulla pittoresca e storica Piazza San Giulia, la posizione è perfetta. Alessandra e Alice sono state molto disponibili durante tutto il nostro soggiorno. Il lago d’Orta è estremamente bello e tutte le sue attrazioni erano raggiungibili a piedi o in barca dall’appartamento Isola. Avrei solo voluto non dovermene andare. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Siamo stati benissimo nell’appartamento L’Isola e qui ci siamo sentiti molto a nostro agio. La cosa migliore è la vista unica sul lago, sull’isola, sulle montagne alle spalle e sulla cappella che si affaccia sulla sua roccia spettacolare e ripida. Indipendentemente dal tempo o dall’ora del giorno, puoi sempre goderti questa vista dal soggiorno. La posizione direttamente sulla piazza del paese è fantastica, c’è sempre un sacco di trambusto, e sempre qualcosa da vedere quando ci si siede all’aperto. Il balcone è piuttosto stretto, ma se metti una sedia dal lato del soggiorno nella porta, si trova a tre (sconsigliato per quattro). Direttamente sotto la casa sulla piazza ci sono alcuni ristoranti (che non possiamo davvero consigliare se non per un cappuccino mattutino), ma non è rumoroso, e dalle 22 o 23 le persone sono sparite comunque. Tieni presente che devi portare i bagagli a pochi metri (in salita al momento della partenza) per questa posizione unica nel centro storico, ma ne vale sicuramente la pena in quanto si vive in una zona praticamente priva di traffico.
La cucina è molto ben attrezzata, si può fare dell’ottima cucina italiana (ma bisogna fare la spesa altrove – a Orta non c’è nemmeno un piccolo supermercato, solo un minuscolo negozio per l’essenziale). In generale, l’intero appartamento è ben attrezzato, c’è tutto il necessario, dal panno all’ombrellone, e anche una piccola selezione di belle letture in inglese e francese. L’appartamento era minimamente più piccolo e scuro di quanto sembri dalle foto ben scattate, ma comunque assolutamente a posto. Il pavimento avrebbe potuto essere un po’ più pulito (attenzione quando si cammina a piedi nudi), ma per noi non è stato un problema.
Il check-in e la comunicazione sono stati assolutamente eccellenti. Giorgio e Alice sono stati super gentili, disponibili e reattivi, e sempre disponibili tramite WhatsApp. È stato un piacere comunicare con loro. Prenoteremmo sicuramente di nuovo un appartamento con VisitLakeOrta, ma poi probabilmente uno con accesso diretto al lago (è a circa 15 minuti a piedi dai luoghi più belli per nuotare).
Oh, e non lasciare che alcune delle recensioni più vecchie ti confondano: è disponibile una buona lavatrice funzionante e il wifi funziona alla grande, ma comunque chi ha bisogno del wifi con questa vista…?

Tutto era incantevole con questo appartamento. L’appartamento in sé in una tipica vecchia casa con una cucina ben attrezzata e bei mobili. Di fronte al lago e all’Isola San Giulio. La piccola e vivace piazza in questo borgo antico molto interessante, passeggiate intorno e in cima (da non perdere il Monte Sacro). E naturalmente il lago Orta, le montagne intorno e la vicinanza del lago Major. Abbiamo apprezzato molto.

La cosa migliore dell’appartamento è il balcone proprio sopra la piazza che si affaccia sul lago e sull’Isola San Giulio. La vista è più che bella.
Posso anche consigliare l’appartamento quando si viaggia con bambini, poiché si può comunque godere la vista durante la sera/notte quando i vostri bambini stanno già dormendo.
Comunicare con Alice e il suo team è sempre stato semplice. Sono molto disponibili e rispondono rapidamente ai messaggi. Non abbiamo potuto fare l’orario di check-in originale a causa del traffico, ma modificare il tempo con poco preavviso non è stato un problema.
Ci piacerebbe tornare un giorno.

L’appartamento era fantastico, tradizionale, pulito, ben arredato. Era anche molto più spaziosa del previsto. Abbiamo affittato questo appartamento per il nostro matrimonio per una settimana ed è stato eccellente. Io e le mie damigelle avevamo abbastanza spazio per prepararci e le foto sembravano favolose. Meraviglioso appartamento nella migliore posizione di Orta San Guilio. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana perfetta. Facile check-in, appartamento ben attrezzato con le migliori viste sul lago.

Che appartamento assolutamente meraviglioso! Abbiamo soggiornato qui per un fine settimana di agosto e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. La posizione è superba e l’appartamento è bellissimo.

Questo è un appartamento davvero incantevole con un posizionamento privilegiato sul lago d’Orta. È arredato splendidamente e la vista è mozzafiato. Abbiamo trascorso una bella settimana nuotando nel lago e sorseggiando un aperitivo sul balcone. Vale la pena notare che mentre c’è una bella gastronomia in città, non c’è un negozio di alimentari. Non avevamo una macchina e le altre città non sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi (a un certo punto finiamo quasi sempre per camminare lungo un’autostrada) quindi questo ha reso lo shopping e la cucina nell’appartamento un po’ impegnativa. Anche solo per segnalare che mentre le sale comuni sono incantevoli, la camera da letto è molto buia. Anche la doccia è molto piccola (come sembra essere standard in Italia). Stai sicuramente pagando per la vista e il bellissimo spazio comune, ma abbiamo pensato che ci fossero alcune piccole cose che potrebbero essere facilmente sistemate per renderlo un soggiorno più confortevole nel complesso.

Abbiamo adorato l’appartamento: pulito, ben attrezzato e in una posizione ottima. Orta è un incantevole villaggio con diversi ottimi ristoranti. Il parcheggio è compreso in una moderna struttura sotterranea. È un po’ una sfida arrivare con i bagagli, ma questo è tipico dei piccoli borghi italiani. C’è stata una grave ondata di caldo durante il nostro soggiorno con temperature a metà degli anni ’90. Come sapevamo quando l’abbiamo prenotato, l’appartamento non è climatizzato. Anche in questo caso, questo è tipico degli edifici storici in Italia ed è stato evidenziato nell’annuncio quindi non abbiamo lamentele con Alice. Devo anche menzionare che gli antichi edifici italiani sono ben isolati. Abbiamo chiuso le tende e le persiane a mezzogiorno ed è rimasto caldo ma sopportabile durante il giorno. Abbiamo poi aperto tutte le finestre di notte e l’appartamento si è raffreddato bene. Non abbiamo avuto difficoltà a dormire. Credo che il tempo che abbiamo vissuto fosse insolito sulla base di documenti storici.

Questo appartamento elegante, spazioso e confortevole nel cuore di Orta San Giulio era il posto perfetto in cui soggiornare. Ci è piaciuto molto esplorare il fascino unico e la bellezza della zona. Il check-in è stato semplice e la comunicazione con l’host è stata eccellente per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno. Avere accesso a un parcheggio vicino è stato un vero bonus. La professionalità dell’host e la sua attenzione ai dettagli ci hanno permesso di rilassarci e goderci appieno tutto ciò che Orta ha da offrire. Absolutely divine! This apartment is everything we had hoped for and more. With windows and a set of French doors opening on the picturesque, historic Piazza San Giulia, the location is perfect. Alessandra and Alice were very helpful throughout the course of our stay. Lake Orta is extremely beautiful and all of its attractions were accessible on foot or boat from the Isola apartment. I only wish I didn’t have to leave. We will definitely go back!

What a stunning apartment. I have stayed in a lot of holiday house in my time, but this may well be the best of the lot. Amazing setting, soaking up the atmosphere of the square but enjoying the privacy of the balcony and the lovely view over the island. So well located for fantastic restaurants. Yes, it’s a bit of a trek with the suitcase as the town is pedestrianised. But the benefit is that there is no traffic once you are there. And the underground car park for the flat is ideal. A must-book.

We absolutely loved at stay in Lake Orta, and were made to feel very welcome by Alice the agent, who is very knowledgeable about the local area. This beautiful apartment is tastefully furnished, very comfortable and well set up for a short or long term stay. The view of the lake across from the sitting room is spectacular. The apartment is very well appointed with multiple restaurant and bar options just downstairs in the town square. We loved walking around Orta and falling in with the local relaxed lifestyle.

We will feel like we have found a slice of heaven and will definitely return!

We loved being right in the centre of the square – we had small kids who needed to nap in the daytime and/or go to bed early so it was great to be able to sit on the balcony or at the window and still feel like we were amongst the action. Also it was surprisingly quiet given the location.

What a beautiful apartment! Alice’s communication before and during the stay was excellent and she made sure our stay was memorable. Lake Orta is an incredibly scenic place and Alice’s apartment, overlooking the main square, is a perfect place to stay. The view from the balcony is one of the main square and the island of San Giulio and at night, listening to the gentle water against the shoreline was a lovely way to end the day. We spent four nights at Alice’s apartment and we are very much looking forward to returning.

Appartment Isola was beautiful, really high standard accommodation, with amazing views over the main square and the lake and Isola San Guilio. Alice was incredibly helpful and informative throughout our visit. The booklet on the area she designed herself was really useful and we followed her advice on where to visit and how to get about. Such a beautiful place – and lots to see and do. We went on a day trip to Lake Maggiore – easily accessible from San Guilio and the lakeside walk was a wonderful bonus. A serene and magical place. We loved our stay here, and hated to leave! We would absolutely book the same place if we return to Orta. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed, an amazing view of the square and the lake, and is steps away from the main square and all the restaurants and cafes, the boat docks, and a market where we could get groceries so that we could take advantage of the fully-equipped kitchen. And it was a five-minute walk to a spot where we could swim in the lake. Alice made things simple for us to check in and out easily, and she was so accommodating when we needed to get a late check-in.

Gorgeous apartment, quite luxurious. Very comfortable with everything in excellent condition. Exceptionally well located and appointed. Lovely views, we even got a front seat view of our he fireworks over the lake when we were there. Alice was wonderfully helpful.

The appartment is in a great location, in the heart of the historic centre, there are very nice restaurants nearby and nice places to have an aperitif before dinner. The apartment stayed cool even if it was really hot outside and it was really clean. Kids enjoyed the opportunity to go for a swim within 2 min walk from the appartment. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will recommend it to our friends.

This apartment is exactly what you see in the photographs. It’s stylish with a beautiful mosaic floor, spacious and the view is very impressive. The main bedroom is in the back and the only noise you get is sometimes slamming of the 1-2 entry doors. Once you walk through the initial door you have a set of stairs leading up to a second door which opens into the apartment block. Another set of stairs then entry level to your accommodation so be aware of how much luggage you take. There is no wifi, there’s public access but depending on the time of year (like June, July, August) you’ll never connect. Our SIM provider was not often strong enough either. If you stay for longer than the minimum 4 nights be aware that there’s no washer/drye provided in the apartment and from information Alice provided the closest is in Omegna which is some distance away. Same for a supermarket. We bought packaged fruit from a shop underneath. Isola San Giulio? Don’t listen to anyone who says “it’s not worth a visit because there’s nothing there”. We went and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Church is delightful, obviously historic, there’s a restaurant which has a terrace for lunch. Restaurant tables in front but snacks/drinks near the rear but still worth sitting for. To go and return is €4.80 per person and the little boats leave every 15 minutes. Trust me! It’s a lovely way to spend a few hours on a sunny day. We were thinking of returning for dinner one night but we didn’t book because a the boat provides your return due to the public boats last departure is 1900.
