Orta Festial In the heart of Lake Orta, San Giulio Island provides an enchanting setting for the closing concert of OrtaFestival 2026. The Basilica of San Giulio will host this special evening, where the beauty of the surroundings meets the magic of live music.
Taking the stage are five outstanding musicians: violinists Ivan Rabaglia and Igor Cantarelli, violists Francesco Fiore and Eleonora De Poi, and cellist Matteo Pigato. Through their artistry, they will guide the audience on a journey through two masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s String Quintet in C major, K. 515, and Johannes Brahms’s String Quintet No. 2 in G major, Op. 111.

The Basilica of San Giulio is located on San Giulio Island, which can only be reached by boat from Orta San Giulio.
Regular boat services depart from the main square of Orta San Giulio (Piazza Motta), with the crossing to the island taking just a few minutes.
Visitors arriving by car can park in Orta San Giulio. From there, it is a short walk to the boat landing, where you can take a ferry to the island.
